VIDREXPORT - PRODUÇÃO DE VIDRO, LDA. is a company in the crystalline sector dedicated to the production of soda-lime glass, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Marinha Grande, district of Leiria.

It started its activity producing exclusively hand blown glass articles.

Due to the need for increased space and production capacity, namely a focus on a type of product that is packaging glass, at the end of 2012 Vidrexport acquired new facilities in the Marinha Grande Industrial Zone and moved to them in summer 2013 after the construction of a new furnace with an installed capacity of around 14 Ton / day.

A year later, with the installation of a two-section IS machine, Vidrexport began to gain a foothold in the packaging glass market.

In the summer of 2017, Vidrexport started a new project that aimed to increase production capacity by moving to a new furnace with an installed capacity of about 19 Ton / day and an increase in the physical space of the facilities that currently have about 7200 m2.

2018 was followed by the installation of a new 4-section IS automatic bottle-making machine and an automatic line of choice through artificial vision, thus producing around 8 million bottles per year.

Currently the production of packaging glass is the main product produced by Vidrexport. New investments are underway to increase installed production capacity.
